Old LHB film and videos are now available on DVD for online ordering!
We now have DVDs with video footage of EVERY year since 1955, with the exception of 1958.
After years of work, we have finally had the LHB video and film archives professionally restored and made available on DVD. Every film canister, tape, or reel known to us was used in this process, so this is the most extensive and complete collection we believe we could have compiled.
Most film shot prior to 1965 or 1966 does not have sound, although there are a few exceptions. Even some films from more recent years have no sound, as the football team video crew that shot film for LHB sometimes operated the camera without using a microphone, and in some cases the film was incomplete or there were camera problems. Some years are combined because of the small amount of footage for those years. The prices, if higher than the normal $25, reflect the significant cost of restoring multiple reel-to-reel films, unusually long or damaged film, and editing/digitizing them onto a DVD. This was a very expensive and time-consuming process, without any outside funding.
Most DVDs for years after 1970 include Alumni Band, although not all LHAB shows were available. Most bowl games are included in the footage, and spring events, if available, are included with the preceding fall's footage. For example, an event in Spring of 1967 would be part of the 1966 DVD, not 1967.
The films for 1955-57 were combined because of the small amount of footage and some uncertainty about the dates of some small clips, as well as to reduce costs to our members. 18 special reels of 1956 footage were compiled onto a separate DVD, and include many non-marching activities. 1959 and 1960 were combined due to the limited amount of film available, as were 1976 and 1977.

Listed below in the store are the years available for purchase, along with the price. Again, prices reflect the cost of professional film restoration and digitization. We have no materials for 1958. If anyone has video materials from 1958, we would love to add them to our archives.
